     Joe Barone has turned the Ocean Dr. solo project into the movement now known as Incidental Bliss:
     Joe Barone, front man and founder of the band "Incidental Bliss" has been strumming the six string since the age of six. Born and raised in a small New England town, Joe often turned to music as an escape from the bland existence life sometimes had to offer. "Music has always been a place of refuge for me.      At the intersection of bumping your favorite pop tune on your stereo, the late night you spent kicking game to that special someone at the club and the lonely train ride home thinking of all things you should have said just a few fleeting moments before, theres a quiet kid with a fitted hat and enough music to capture it all with music and a voice that is uniquely his own, but will soon belong to everyone.
     That kid is Peter Toh, a genre-smashing 24 year old artist/producer from Brooklyn, New York who is poised to be a major force in popular music in the months and years to come. The young maestros genre-spanning mix of uptempo rock, soulful r&b, outsider electronica and straight up snap your fingers pop is unlike anything you're hearing on the radio or in the rock or dance clubs right now, and thats just the way he likes it.      Drawing from the diverse Washington DC Music scene, the Lloyd Dobler Effect fuses popular rock with percussive rhythms and vocal harmonies to create an intricate and fresh sound. LDE’s multi-layered, upbeat, and danceable music showcases their universal, appeal to both mainstream music lovers and culturally diverse audiences. LDE has opened for EMINEM, THE GOO GOO DOLLS, GOOD CHARLOTTE, THE ROOTS, AUDIOSLAVE and JACK JOHNSON (to name a few). LDE has performed at over 160 college campuses and showcased at four college conferences (NACA and APCA) in the past two years.
      An energetic young band, all in their early twenties, LDE has quickly earned a loyal followingthroughout the United States. LDE’s fans enjoy the memorable songwriting, thought-provoking lyrics, ande xceptional musicianship that anchor the group’s high-energy live performances. LDE has performed in 39 states and 8 countries. LDE performs over 250 gigs a year and is always eager to meet and greet fans as well as donate their time to several Washington DC charities (their favorite being SPECIAL LOVE INCORPORATED, which provides leisure activities for children suffering with cancer).
